Study Program
Researchers work in close consultation with a group of supervisors whose fields of competence include literature written in English, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, and other languages.
The study program includes basic seminars on critical theory (in cooperation with ProLit, the PhD program in Literature) and on theories of globalization, as well as other thematically related events. In addition, a discussion group is designed to provide a forum for intense exchange on projects and texts between fellows, professors, and visiting scholars from both literary studies and social studies. Teaching and discussions are bilingual (German/English).
